President Obama was so…… wrong this time,

and all small business owner should get some apology.

I am a small business owner, and now I am going to explain to you how I can not keep going make living on my business, and I will also tell you how corrupt government system on state level and local level.

I am a small contractor just got a small project putting a couple of wall in side existing office room. The total project just few thousands dollar value. But the city plan check and permit fee cost almost four thousand dollars. And the for this wall adding project, city inspector ask to fix whole building upgrade to get final inspection sign off, such as upgrade handicaps ramp, adding up yellow mat in front of ramp. And this ramp will cost $300 dollar material only. Does any one calculate how much percentage of this cost adding up? And it is a new handicaps ramp just did few years ago.

One of the cities I have been working at. They used to have 9 building inspector, 7 of them used to be a general contractor. They quit their own business turn to work for the city building department. Why? Because the government is the biggest partner take 51% profit away from hard working small business owner in advance before they make money all the time, so they would rougher work for government. So they can work less, less responsibility, less stress, but more time and best benefit holiday vacation for them self.

Have Washington DC ever have any system to monitoring the efficiency of government system work and working progress? For the same job, how many people needed in private company, and how many people used in government?

The house I owned before county water department change water meter on my property. It is only about 10 feet long and 4 feet deep trench work, for private company can only use 2 worker charge four thousands dollar to get it done with good profit. But the water department charge almost 10 thousands dollars with no profit at all. The need a project manager, project supervisor, tractor driver, truck driver, pension fund retirement fund high insurance coverage.

Mr. President, as a small business owner, we don’t mind cut share for our government but we do feel not right if government not use our tax in the efficient way. If not. We will just copy the whole Europe country to go bankruptcy. Your mistake is not study on how to manage government working system. But keep making so many laws to control small business and all those law is taking away small business profit before them making profit. They are become big burden to start or run a small business.

Other things I would like suggest: do some study about how much society benefit from private donation out of rich or small business side. And do some study how efficient their money work. How efficient they are. If I am a president, I would rather increase private donation tax deduction rate let the money directly work on the people needed, work on the job being created, work under people such as private business owner who know how to control the money working efficiency to do the job instead use government power to rip off small business owner pay higher tax and sent all the money share to a bunch of lazy none efficient government working stuff to manage it.

Wake up president. You have a great heart try to work for our country and our people. Most of people respect it. But this time your work really slammed our small business owner’s face. It is lack of thinking before you speak it out.

This is the big discussion all the times on CNBC Kudlow Show. I believe “free market will make great prospect for all hard working middle class Citizen in this great country. Why? Because, when I just come in to this country. I have nothing at all. But after 15 years hard working, I made up to middle class and be able to pay 35% income tax on my own and hire up to 15 workers. And I was so proud of myself from working as a bath boy, delivery lunch box and pizza, then start getting into my profession as a architectural designer and then a professional construction builder.

I made my life from poor to middle class. It is because free market combined with good shape of economic situation. As long as I want, I can work long hour, I can work two job, I can borrow more money to start my business, and charge more on my high quality and service job to pay better pay to and hire better worker.

But now I can not keep making my life, it because the “free market”  melt away. Why? Economic down turn, not enough construction business to do. Even there is some, people have small budget. As a contractor, I understand, I try to cut more profit margin down to get job. But I can only do the limited cut I can do. Because the worker’s compensation insurance lock up my minimum pay rate for the worker. Even I am possible to find good worker willing to do the work at the lower working rate, but I can’t pay them low. for example: if I keep hourly rate for my carpenter above $25 per hour, I pay $17% of pay check to buy worker’s comp. but if the hourly rate lower then $25 per hour, I have to pay 53% of pay check to buy worker’s comp. How is that happen? Because government have a rule to force us have to buy worker’s compensation insurance for human right thought, but the rule have no regulation about how to sale worker’s compensation insurance from insurance company.

What is that shows to us. It shows, our capitalism country, not fully capitalism. We are “joint venture” We are not fully free market situation for the business. One hand we are free market, I can not charge better price because economic down, but on the other hand I have to pay more on my labor cost to satisfy human right. But insurance company don’t want to satisfy human right by charging less. So how can we make business profit and keep hiring people? Now I end up laid off every one and work everything on my own. Even though, I couldn’t even make leaving on my own.

Even like this, the economic getting worse. The owner budget getting even less because congress knocking down Goldman Sach. Investigate all big bank, Market plugged. Owner would rather hire unlicensed crew with now worker’s compensation insurance, paying cash for worker without pay any payroll tax, to get job done instead hire us, a professional licensed contractor. And most of unlicensed crew worker getting unemployeement pay check and free health insurance which the big hole our country can not afford it. But small business owner like me, have no unemployeement and still have to buy our own health insurance by using our saving even we have no any income. So the situation is: one side have regulation for all registered licensee, the other side is unregulated free market. This is the reality of our great country. It is the main reason we should consider and study hard to find out how to get our economic back on track.

Not only our country, the whole Europe have the same problem. Compare China, Veitnan,… All new grown up country, they bring our free market capitalism into their country, so these 20 years they get a lot better then before. And they will get even better in the next 30 years. But our country and Europe developed country, already step into post capitalism by contribute more human right, more social benefit….which already physically pre socialism. Countries like China, a “fake socialism” country physically step into and catch up capitalism now.

Find balance point in the world or within our country ourselves, is the biggest and tough work to do, not because which political party can control the power of this country. No mater our next president come from any political party, if he has no understand and wisdom to lead our country, he will be fail again, and our country will really getting into deeper problem.

Somebody said the right thing, our country need right leadership the whole Europe need right leadership. But what kind of leadership should be? The leader should be able to lead us really know what kind of operation will work, or at least have better chance to work. But the sad thing is: every one only know dig a bigger hole to patch current hole, print more money to pay for old debt. Or just try to print more money buy more time. Does anyone know what the value of time? And how much money will do?

I am not saying which political party right or which political party wrong, buying time is needed. But set up future path is even more important.

The question is should we go little step back for more “free market” way? If so, we should eliminate more current rules and benefit? Let rich to get more richer so they can spend money to hire more people and care more people. which considered natural way to slow recover our economic but it is solid step to go further, Or we go step further up to care about more luxury human right, it will do like another “fake socialism” way to set up more rules to regulate every detail and cut rich people profit give to the poor, those people even can not take care themselves.

The reality already showed, most of our profit business, big or small are all move out our country because the high business tax and complicated regulation. So the rich try to keep up profit for themselves have to go out of country to be able to be alive. Try to bring all those business back, the only way is reduce corporate tax, and eliminate a lot rules. Can we, no we can not.

Or Forget about what kind of “xxxlism,” this whole united nation have to sit down and work together to get through the situation now. There is no more time to wait anymore. This is the situation God teach human how to respect each other rich and poor, developed and undeveloped country. This is the situation God teach human, how to rich care poor, big care small, strong care weak. Is this going to work? It’s worked when United State started by Washington. It is worked when Bill Gates and Warren Buffet donate big charity fund. It also worked a short time when Chairman Mao concord China.

The point is when developed western countries as an individual, can have much more extra profited capital to take care of human right and social benefit, but as a united nation, the capital have a lot shortage to fill up hungry undeveloped country. Even European people can not volunteering take cut of benefit or pay check on government worker, how can the whole word human being can sit down find solution without selfish mind?

High human right and high social benefit ifs build on high capitalism capital. Without huge extra profit capital that just an believe, a future high expectation or wish. And now we have to be realistic. Since the whole world combined together which physically only in the beginning stage of capitalism, just let the market do it work naturally. And cut a lose when the big lose happen like every individual or family. Find solid restarting point to restart. If not, do the separation between developed country and undeveloped country. Forget about world free trade, fence ourselves up to wait another 30 years until China and other third world country catch up us.

It is just that simple. Stop fooling ourselves. that is the real vision our country and all developed country needed

Human right is always topic in the developed countries. Many newer law and regulation being set based on this topic consideration. And this is one of the best part from bottom of our heart. Which include love, forgiving, courage…etc.

To think about this, it is based on our living situation. In developed country. Living environment getting better and better. Even top 1% rich people still have biggest gap then normal living people. But normal living people start having peaceful life then before. So then those country can have chance to think more on this, and also have extra finance to support this.

But how much consideration of human right, is the right level to be judged? There is no one really want to study on, or even some one studied before but don’t want speak it out.

Recently, California state try to cut budget from running prison. The news pointed out. Government spend $50k per prisoner per year, in state jail. $30k per prisoner per year in county jail. What a corked system in our country. Our country, average income of our hardworking people is $35k per household per year. Does any one calculate how many hard working people feed one prisoner? Does any one think about how much human right we lost on hard working people, but try to keep up the human right on one of bad humanity? Country of Greece now have big strike from government worker because they got income and benefit cut for exchange of Europen Union support ball out. Are they fight for human right? Or they are acting a bad humanity? California DMV spent $400 tax payer money per chair for changing all office chair to a commodate some over weight union worker stuff for high standard human right working environment to government stuff. And then turn around cut school and firefighter budget during state budget crises. I don’t understand. And I m sure most of our people don’t understand. I think even Dr. Marting luther king Jr. alive, he will feel confused what is this situation.

All this worth to re think about it.

Human right is a most beautiful word God give us. And human right is the most attractive wish for human being. Human right is the most tough class God let us study on.

All human right should under God Ten Restriction Law for humans. Not for use as a excuse to do something human want to do. It is high end luxury thing for human. And only when human really understand what it is we can get it. If not we can not have it.

Look Afghanistan War, Iraq War, Libya War. Does any of their country get real human right? by the end of war?

I think human right is a relative concept with the solid destination we can feel. It is part we can understand and part we don’t understand. We keep criticized China lack of human right, but now we think China should be listed into development country because China getting richer and richer. Why even they don’t have same human right like western developed country but China can have fast development in economic?

Come on be realistic. Don’t keep fool ourselves. Open our mind to adjust what we should do now and how we should do now. China can go faster, because they don’t have same human right that we have, but its good enough for them. We stock in the mud because our human right is too high, which cost much more then the wealth we can produced.

If every one understand this, Greece will have no strike now because every one care about the whole country future not self centered thinking. If all country’s leaders and people understand this, now will have a brand new United Nation to care about each other reset new universal currency, working rate, and willing to sit down to talk, if all the people in the world understand this. There will be no fighting in between religions. No fighting in between Rich and poor. Until then we can have peaceful world. Until then we can really have human right. Until then our world is the haven like God originally created.

How stupidity of push Chinese’s RMB raise value

 

Many of them in congress insist to pushing Chinese RMB raise value. It is understandable. I don’t want to say Chinese government never manipulate the value of RMB. I try to say, we should understand the real situation of world economy and when, how, why RMB being manipulated. We also should pay attention on how it effect US economy and world economy.

For this economy down turn, and world economy situation. It is not help if we keep complain china steal our jobs. Our government just can not see. It is not Chinese steal our jobs, is our jobs run away from our own country. Why? Check it out. Does any body report how many American company move their business out of country. And does any one study why they move out of country, and does any one report how those company gain more profit after they move.

Obviously, the problem is our government not realize. Our country not pay attention to how to give our company better environment to improve out business. Our country have too many stupid regulation which look like good for human right, but not good for business right. Good for some group of people human right but hurt some of job provider people human right. It is nothing with RMB value at all.

A “near sighted” vision won’t help our country to back on track. When Chairman Mao time in China. China close up it own country,  it cause China been lagging back 50 years then western country. We try to do the same thing now. After 30 years china close up, this near 30years they open there mind and plan ahead. Our big developing time at last 30 years, we forgot other country try to catch up, or even we don’t believe the other country have the ability to catch up. So we have no plan to study how to balance in this new small world, and not even try to plan how we can be in position of ourselves in this new small world.

Our jobs move out, not only move to China, these few years we see more production from Maxico, from Veitnam…..its all because our business have to move to cheaper cost country to keep alive. Its all because we can not deal with so many stupid regulation in our country. As a small business owner, I know exactly what is happen. For example. As a licensed contractor we quote a job $5000 with no profit, but no licensed crew can do it $3000 with good profit. But the same job use union crew will charge $20000 to do it with minimum profit. If our small business owner can not make money, we will work 18 hour a day seven days work to keep alive. But all government job have best vacation holiday time and make 10 times of income. Does it related with RMB? Not at all.

As a revenge to ourselves. Since RMB raise value, all our basic living goods inflated. All our business lose better business profit margin, they have to cut even more job look for more cheaper country to move on. Our companies not only have to find cheaper cost country, and have to deal with unstapled political environment from newer undeveloped country. What a repeat nightmare for our business. Does our country leaders ever think about it?

Wake up now, there is no time to waste. Forget about parties, think about our future. Do the necessary “surgery”, cut off those “bad part”, find new solid ground to stand. Otherwise. Next 30 years will be like China 60’s to 70’s, even we have better hospital better car better street, but the mental suffering will be the same.

Housing just can not see any back up prudential. Just like Bernanky prepared. Within two years he won’t raise base interest rate. It is great move for stabilize housing market. Because most people have variable interest loan will keep similar payment on their house. Even when first 3,5,7,years interest only loan start variable payment. So this move will help for keep less new house being through in to market.

On the other hand, Bernanky’s move tell us. Housing market like this will last even longer then we thought. Why? Because bank money is private controlled not by Bernanky or White house. Bankers are most greedy business man, no matter how low the base rate of government, bank wont really put money out into market to work. Unless they think market of housing start going up. People buying housing or refinance housing are the people have steady income which can afford to do so. But  job market stay slow too, which means buying power won’t be able to increase dramatically.
 
Not only job market won’t help housing, basic living need goods inflating cause bigger expense for every household, which also cause buying power decreasing. All the working people know $100 can buy a full cart stuff in Costco, but now $100 only get a few item which won’t fill up the bottom of the cart in Costco. So the inflation is obviously.

Time wise the more slow economy goes, the less buying power will be. So if we go the same way of Japan. It will more likely have deflation on housing.

 
So in conclusion, we have a lot chance to go parallel on housing deflation but living need inflation in a long time.

Print money for bank or for the people?

Does no one think this or no one want to talk about this. Our government try to save our economic by printing a lot money. But bank never use the money to help people refinance the loan.

There are many family like one of my friend, a small business men in construction business. After economic down turn, there is no business for him. But as a good business men, he planed ahead for unforeseen. He sold all his rental property to reserve some cash for going through hard time.

But as his situation. Since he have no pay check at all, no bank will give him bridge loan to lower his payment since adjustable interest only payment ending. Even he can keep pay his payment another five year.

If government want to keep housing market stay without keep dropping. Government should help those kind of family stay in their home instead make them drain all their cash saving then lose their house. But government did the other way. They print money for the bank and bank use it trade in wall street make good profit the pay government back without helping the people need emergency bridge loan. And more and more people try to sale their home since cash saving drained less and less. Plus more bank own property keep hurting the housing market. Our government money printing become useless.

On the other hand. Money printing cause all food gas.. price inflated. It make those cash saving drain even faster and faster.

I suggest our government should provide special bridge loan for those kind of people, who can keep their payment 3 to 5 year. And let them pay smaller amount of payment to go through the down turn, keep housing market hold up. Have enough cash to keep living until economic getting better.

I just feel so shame, our great nation. So many smart people, are they don’t know this or no one want do this at all.

I don’t know how Obama Team collecting real information and study on the information about majority American people situation. I don’t know how they understand what we really need to help this economic environment.


Increase the infrastructural work, repair road and utility is not a bad thing to do for most of country try to help a economic. It is also not bad compare only extend unemployment benefit. But Obama Team forgot calculate how much employment can be increase.


Repair road in United State is a kind of job use much less employee but heavy equipment instead. On the other hand, this kind of job is controlled most by union worker. Which will cost government a lot more for much less effect. Union worker such like people holding flag direct traffic guy even make at least $35 to $50 per hour plus all the benefit and pensions which equal to $65 to $80 per hour cost of project each person. As a private construction company owner might only make $50 per hour during good economic, and now they might have no job income and private income with no unemployment benefit at all.


I got water department replace new water meter, it is estimate $12,000 to $14,000 dollar real charges is  $11,000 but I don’t think they can make profit, because they have big loader and excavator, big dump truck, big equipment truck, 3 guy drive equipment and, one plumber, one plumber helper, one guy hold shovel, one guy hold pick, one guy hold broom, one group leader, and one supervisor. So many guys to do this 3 hour job. If this is a private company do the work, they only need two guy to finish it and maximum 3 guy, still only work 3 hour to get job done. And the job might just cost $5,000 and still have profit.


About business spending encouragement is another unbelievable awful idea. Most of small business almost out of business, and they have all lost credit to get any of business loan. They all live on minimum savings try to hanging through this economic situation. How can they spend extra money to get deductions. They don’t even have any profit at all. This idea is such kind of jock.


Small housing investment and Construction business is the area lost employment and wealth of American. But housing still under water, for the all government tax and rules cost licensed contractor has no way to compete with none licensed handymen crew on the bid estimate. Since this kind economic, owner need do construction all worry about spend too much, they would rather take risk to hire cheaper none licensed crew. This kind of crew never report tax, they get paid by cash, they don’t pay tax, they don’t need any company spending tax deduction.

increase asian people travel posibility, country like China and India Malasia, HongKong, Taiwan, Korea, they have a lot of people rich enough to spend vacation in united state, or sent their kids, and family live in here even they don't want become United state citizen. the big spending from out side country, is the only way to release the presure from locally. it will creat more company profit especially small business profit, it will creat job on retail, traval related, housing, those business much close to the mojority of american. and it is instant increase business without any special time frame. temporara population increase is the best and fast way to help. just think how to help them get in and enjoy the life here is much easier to do and acurate to our economic situation at all.

I do hope Obama have a department can really gathering information from bottom of America people. So they can find the real solution to help our country back on track.
